Nurses need to be better able to recognize the decisions they make and to understand the uncertainties associated with them.  They need to be given the skills to construct focused clinical questions and to effectively and efficiently search for the best available research evidence with which to answer these questions.

This day will:

• demonstrate an understanding of the theory of decision making
• discuss how the theory applies to your clinical practice
• practice decision making in complex end of life situations

This day will run on 16th May and 10th October 2011 from 1.30 am to 4.30 pm at St Catherine's Education and Training Centre and costs £45 including handouts and refreshments
