Holistic assessment is essential in ensuring the needs of patients at the end of life and those close to them are accurately identified and appropriately met
(End of Life Care Strategy 2008, Maher & Hemming 2005).

This day will:

• describe the nature of holism
• discuss the process of holistic assessment
• identify the importance of therapeutic relationships to enhance assessment
• explore assessment tools

TARGET AUDIENCE:  
Registered Nurses & Clinical Nurse Specialists.  Other Healthcare Professionals are welcome to attend.

This day will run on 16th May and 10th October 2011 from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm at St Catherine's Education and Training Centre and costs £45 including handouts and refreshments
