At St Catherine’s, education and training is delivered in a variety of ways and with many different partners.
Learning opportunities are provided through study days, workshops, lectures, clinical updates, mentorship, research and action learning. New educational opportunities continue to arise and we are currently developing programmes with our local universities as well as our other partners. Education is delivered by highly experienced professional teachers and clinicians in palliative care.
Recognition of Educational Quality
We are pleased to say that our five day courses have been recognised by the University of Surrey and the University of Brighton as showing high levels of educational quality through the University's 'Recognising educational Quality' (ReQ) Forum. For participants, this means that if they attend any of the five day courses and successfully complete the assignment, they may be able to gain academic credit at either university, which can only be claimed against full degree or diploma programmes.
