Syringe Drivers

This course is available free of charge only to health and social care workers working in Surrey. To book a place on this course, please apply on-line or print off and complete the form found here. Please note that the closing date for applications is one week before the date of the course.

Learning outcomes:

  • describe the different syringe drivers in use
  • identify the rationale behind their use
  • discuss common medications and their compatibility
  • demonstrate how to set up a McKinley syringe driver safely
  • discuss ‘troubleshooting’ if difficulties arise
