When companies or individuals donate gifts in kind it can save St Catherine’s money. A gift in kind donation can mean that we do not have to buy certain items that we need - reducing our operating expenses.

In kind donations can be large and small and every donation helps. In the last year we have received in kind donations of:

• A van for our delivering and collecting goods for our shops
• Office equipment like shredders, desk chairs and stationery
• 15,000 pieces of new china and crockery for sale in our shops
• Alcoholic drinks for the patient’s drinks trolley
• Food items for our kitchens
