Friends of St Catherine's

Members of one of the Friends fundraising support groupsThe Friends of St Catherine’s Hospice are groups of dedicated men and women who play an important role in raising funds for the hospice. They run a range of activities from balls and garden parties to coffee mornings and street collections and together raise almost £200,000 each year.

We have 17 groups around our catchment area, who as well as raising vital funds, also raise awareness of our work helping the local population. They are supported by a dedicated member of staff who provides advice, materials and encouragement!

If you are interested in joining or starting a Friends Group please call Barbara Dryden on 01293 447 319 or email barbaradryden@stch.org.uk

Why should you join a group?

  • to be actively involved in your local community
  • to make new friends and have fun
  • to have a positive impact on an important charity
  • to develop skills in fundraising and event organisation
