Santa Run - On your marks, get set, ho ho ho!

On Sunday 13 December we held our first Santa Runs in East Grinstead and Caterham. The sunny morning bought along many late entries on the day. There were nearly 80 runners at Queens Park in Caterham and 200 runners at East Court in East Grinstead.

People of all ages were welcome to come along and dress up as Santa and there were even a few dogs that were dressed for the occasion! The courses were both 3k in total and it was great sight to see so many Santas running for St Catherine’s.

We would like to say a huge thank you everyone who volunteered to help or marshal at the events, St Johns Ambulance at Caterham & British Red Cross at East Grinstead Plus thanks to Chartham Park Golf & Country Club who led the warm up at East Grinstead.

We have had so much positive feedback from the runners and sponsorship has already started to come in. Let’s hope we can reach our target of £10,000.
