Sussex Weald Bike Ride – Sunday 20th May 2012
Taking part in the Sussex Weald Bike Ride for
St Catherine’s Hospice is a great way to enjoy the beautiful
Sussex countryside while supporting our vital work. Last year
we had around 400 people take part and we raised over £30,000!
All routes are through the beautiful Sussex Weald. The rides start and finish at Handcross Park School. Handcross. RH17 6HF and you have the choice of 4 routes:
10 miles An easy on-road circuit (including a hill!)
22 miles A mix of easy gradients and stiffer climbs
32 miles A more challenging route
44 miles A demanding route with several sharp, hilly sections
We provide you with full support to ensure you have a fantastic day:
• You will receive a comprehensive information pack with sponsor forms and route guide
• All routes are on road and fully marshalled with clear, frequent route signs
• There will be refreshment points and toilet stops
• Every cyclist who completes a ride receives a certificate of achievement.
Advanced registration (before Friday 11th May) is £15 per adult and under 18s ride for free. If you are riding in a team of six or more adults you will receive a 20% discount on entry fees, so why not encourage your friends and family to join you and raise sponsorship as a group. Please note that if you are registering a team of six or more you will have to enter via the leaflet and register in advance to claim your discount. Entry on the day will be £23.
