Here are some examples of how local schools and colleges have supported St Catherine’s Hospice recently. A huge thank you to all of your schools supporters for encouraging their students and staff to get involved with St Catherine’s Hospice!
| Pennthorpe School in Rudgwick raised an astounding £1,343.32 on their Charity Day in November through blue bag donations and a non-uniform day |

Caterham School made a very generous donation of £1,000. We are delighted that schools in Tandridge are becoming more aware of the end of life care now provided by St Catherine’s in the area.
Handcross Park School donated £402.71 to the hospice raised by the Eco-Council. This was presented to St Catherine’s at an assembly where Victoria spoke about the work of the hospice.
Durham House at Holy Trinity School, Crawley, raised £294.92 through their ‘Durham’s Got Talent’ event.
Simon Forsyth, a student at Sackville College in East Grinstead, raised £334.82 by holding a charity gig at New Life Church. Thanks again Simon for all the effort you put into your event!
Students at St Bede’s School in Redhill raised £153.57 for the hospice through a collection at their local train station. St Catherine’s has also been chosen as one of their Rag Week 2010 Charities and we are delighted that they chose us!

Thomas Bennett Community College donated £475.78 following several fundraising activities, including a sponsored mob run... in the snow!
49 schools took part in the 2009 Cuddlies campaign, helping to raise an incredible total of over £10,500 for the hospice.
Teams from Holy Trinity and Oriel High in Crawley and Sackville College in East Grinstead successfully raised funds through their participation in the 2009/10 Enterprise Challenge. Their combined efforts raised an astounding total of almost £5,000. We hope many more schools will be able to take part in this exciting event this year.
Students at Farlington School raised a wonderful £1,125 through non-uniform days, bun sales, raffles and a retiring collection from the Christingle Service. Headmistress, Joy Baggs, reported that the school always receives tremendous support for fundraising initiatives from parents, grandparents and friends of Farlington. We are very grateful to the girls at Farlington for choosing to raise funds for their local hospice.
