We would like to thank everyone who has taken part in our recent jewellery donation campaign, which was launched in partnership with BBC Surrey radio.
Since the summer we have been collecting donations of unwanted jewellery which can then be recycled. It could be one earring, or a broken necklace, a brooch, rings or costume jewellery, which is used in a variety of ways.
The initiative was launched by BBC Surrey at the Oxted and Edenbridge show where visitors were encouraged to dangle their unwanted jewellery to help St Catherine's to provide its specialised end of life care for the local community. Our hospice expanded its services in the East Surrey area earlier this year.
An update will follow on how much has been raised through the jewellery donations initiative.
