St Catherine’s is close to many people’s hearts and without their unstinting and generous support our work would not be possible. Each and every donation is important to us. Here are just a few examples of how people have been raising funds in recent months.
We’ve had lots of people who have put on their running shoes for St Catherine’s Hospice over the past few months:
Thank you to Rob Weighill who took part in the Newbury Triathlon and raised £776.
Sarah Gate for running a half marathon in September and raised £50.
Samantha, Trish, Elaine & Maggie who took part in the Hyde Park Women’s 10k and raised a total of £600 between them.
Carrie Caston & John Tucker who took on the Great North Run and raised £636.
Michael Younge, Luke Thornurn and Malcolm Thorburn who completed the Windsor Half Marathon and raised £2,143 in memory of Carol Younge.
Jo Stow who raised money in memory of her brother Andy Stow by running the Great Birmingham Run.
Charlotte Bray who’s taken part in 7 running events and has raised £260.
Dida Ruffels who power walked the Athens Classic Marathon raising £445 for St Catherine’s.

Ashurst Wood FC donated over £1,400 to the hospice raised through their annual Mick Fergus Memorial Day, bringing their grand total raised to well over £5,000. What a fantastic way to remember someone special!

One of our young supporters, Sean Rouse, raised £239.24 by building his very own Haunted House. Many thanks to Sean and his friends for all of the time and hard work they put into making this event a success.
