In April 2009, St Catherine's Hospice became the local provider of end of life care for people with incurable illnesses in the Tandridge area.

Our community nurses visit people in their own homes and we also run a local day service in Caterham, enabling patients to come together for group support, complementary therapies, and practical help.  Beds are provided at the hospice in Crawley for those needing specialist input from the whole multi-disciplinary team.  Find out more about our East Surrey expansion.

All of our services are provided free of charge and this year we need to raise almost £4.7 million through voluntary donations to continue providing our specialised care.  The support of the community which we serve is vital in ensuring that our care can continue.

We would like to thank everyone in Tandridge who has supported St Catherine's during 2009, helping us to fund and raise awareness of the services which we provide to local people, their families, friends and carers.  Your pledges of ongoing support are very much appreciated.

There is the chance to finish the year with a fabulous festive event by taking part in the Santa Run to be held at Queen's Park, Caterham on 13th December.
