St Catherine’s Hospice offers a rewarding and challenging range of employment and volunteer opportunities across five key areas of work. 
We employee over 220 members of staff, with a range of hours and working arrangements. In addition we also have 700 volunteers contributing their time.
Our main hospice site is situated in Southgate, Crawley just five minutes away from the mainline rail station and the town centre. The local transport system provides easy commuting from surrounding towns and villages, as well as London (Victoria) and Brighton and we're easily accessable from the M23 and M25. We also operate a satellite hospice site in Caterham.

Fundraising and Marketing
At St Catherine’s Hospice we have a dedicated team of Fundraisers. We rely heavily on support and contributions from local community groups.
Every year fundraising within our community raises an amazing amount of money and the number of people wanting to support our work continues to grow.
We have Managers and Fundraisers in Corporate, Community, Events and Donor Development, as well as a PR & Communication Manager and administration roles, including Receptionists.
In addition, in the Lottery Department we have administrators and canvassers.
Education and Training
Education is an important element of our work and as a teaching hospice we provide in-house education for doctors, nurses and other health professionals. We are also able to provide corporate facilities for the local community and business.
Roles include: Head of Education, Teaching Practitioner, Lecturer Practioner and Information Resource Co-ordinator.
We currently operate 14 charity shops across the area we serve in Crawley, Horsham, Mid Sussex and East Surrey and a warehouse in East Grinstead. Our shops rely on the generous donations of good quality clothes, bric a brac and furniture. The profits from our shops are a very important contributory factor towards patient care.
