TRADING COMPANY VACANCIES

Van Assistant
Volunteer required to assist the van driver on Saturdays 8.30am - 4pm with collections and deliveries. Some heavy lifting may be involved. If you are interested call Amanda or apply here
Warehouse - East Grinstead
Volunteers are required to assist with various roles within our warehouse such as sorting and packaging donated goods to go out to our shops. We also require music enthusiasts with excellent music knowledge to assist with sorting and pricing vinyl records and cd's etc. Apply here
Shops - Retail Assistants
Volunteers required for our charity shops for approx. 3 -4 hours to assist on the till, serve and assist customers, promote gift aid, window dressing, stock rotation and steaming. Retail experience desirable although full training is provided - would suit people with a cheerful disposition, who are fairly active and enjoy working within a team. If you are interested please apply here or visit the local shop.

ST CATHERINE'S HOSPICE - CRAWLEY

Drivers
We require volunteers for Day Hospice (Crawley and Caterham) using their own vehicles - 9.30am to bring patients in for 10am and then again to take patients home at 3pm.  You may also be asked to take patients for hospital appointments Mon - Fri or to take deliveries to Crawley Hospital.  Mileage expenses paid (45 pence per mile).  Requirements - Clean driving licence, insurance, MOT and completion of a CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) form.   If you are interested please apply here 
Hospitality
Hospitality Volunteers are required to help in the hospice kitchen assisting with various duties including washing up and taking teas and coffees around the wards for patients and relatives, and in the evenings the bar trolley. We currently have shifts available on Saturdays at 2.45pm - 4.30pm and 5.30pm - 7.30pm.  If you are interested please apply here 
Fundraising
Data Inputting Volunteer required to support our Major Donor Fundraiser on a Thursday or Friday (or split between these two days). Data inputting experience is essential and attention to detail with excellent communication skills.

We require a volunteer to undertake telephone research for the Director of Fundraising for approx. 3 days over a couple of weeks. An excellent telephone manner is required and communication skills essential.

Admin support volunteer required to support our New Horizons Appeals Coordinator on a Monday or Thursday morning with two New Horizons Appeals Fairs. IT literate in Outlook and Excel essential with attention to detail and basic admin skills.

Patient & Family Support Services
Volunteer Support Visitors to provide emotional support and bereavement support to patients and their families at St Catherine's Hospice and at home

Volunteer Pastoral Assistants to provide generic spiritual care and support to patients and their families of all faiths and none at St Catherine's Hospice and at home.

ST CATHERINE'S HOSPICE - CATERHAM

Day Hospice
We are looking for volunteers to assist the day hospice staff on Thursday's 9.30am - 3.30pm meeting and greeting patients, organising activities / discussion groups, serving tea and coffee and assisting with lunches and clearing the day lounge and dining area at the end of the session.
