Volunteers play an essential part in delivering our services. When you start, you’ll receive all the support and training you need to help with your role. You’ll be working alongside members of our staff as part of a valued and friendly team. We hope you’ll feel a real sense of achievement, make new friends and perhaps discover hidden talents.

Did you know?
- Our volunteers provide 1,600 hours a week – that’s the same as employing 47 full-time staff at a total of £600,000 per year!
- There are opportunities at our hospice sites in Crawley and Caterham, in our 13 shops across Mid Sussex and East Surrey and also through our various Friends Groups.
- We run a host of social events including theatre trips, days out, lunches and weekend breaks. We also hold an awards tea to honour 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years service during June’s National Volunteers Week
