Help in the Hospice

St. Catherine’s volunteers undertake a wide variety of roles, some of which are patient-focused while others are more behind the scenes, but certainly no less important in support of the professional staff within the Hospice.

Patient Services: 

  • Complementary Therapies – Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy (see Professional Volunteers)
  • Day Hospice
  • Driving *
  • Hairdressing inc. beauty therapy, manicures
  • Pets as Therapy (Volunteer Dogs) visit www.petsastherapy.org

* Drivers - If using your own car, a clean driving licence, a suitable car with a valid MOT and relevant insurance is required and will be checked annually.
