Giant Christmas Card at Work
We love hearing about the different ways local companies choose to support
St Catherine’s. One unique idea was the inspiration of Steve Barrey, Operations Director at Xafinity Paymaster. Last December, he encouraged staff to write seasonal messages in a giant festive card and make a donation instead of sending individual cards to their colleagues.

Steve, pictured left, says, "It’s easy to forget that key services such as those provided by St Catherine’s can’t stop or take a break throughout the festive period and this was my attempt to encourage others to remember and offer help. Not only did this initiative help The super-sized card raised nearly £800, created a real buzz in the office and made a big difference for our patients and their families.
