| Mr Alex Cuppage (Chairman) Alex Cuppage is a Solicitor practising in the fields of tax planning and charity law. He qualified in 1976 and between then and 2008 he was a partner in firms in Sussex and then London. At Campbell Hooper in Westminster he was Head of the Private Client Dept for 10 years. He now acts as Consultant in such matters for firms in Tunbridge Wells and London. Alex is married with 2 children. |

| Mr Gareth Jones (Treasurer) D. Gareth Jones, FCA, is one of the UK’s leading corporate figures and a steam engine enthusiast. He sits on the board of a number of national companies. Other previous roles include director of Somerfield plc, TBI and Marley plc and Deputy Chairman of Imperial Railways. He was previously Executive Director and Managing Director of Wholesale Banking for Abbey National plc. He is married, has a son and daughter and two grandsons. |

| Dr Jim House Jim House qualified from St Bartholomew’s Hospital in 1975 and until retirement, in 2009, had been a GP at Birchwood Medical Practice since 1981. He has had a keen interest in the development of St Catherine’s Hospice since its inception and referred many patients for care over the years. Jim has a particular interest in sports medicine and is currently helping with setting up medical facilities for the London Olympics. He is married with one step daughter and, away from medicine, coaches hockey and enjoys foreign travel, is a keen photographer and listens to rock music. |

| Mr John Mansfield JP John Mansfield, ran the family wine business in Crawley for many years, and now manages a national wine buying group. He has also built a business producing boxes for storing and transporting drinking glasses, in addition to his interests in managing and developing property. |

| Mrs Linda Bridge Co-opted Trustee Linda Bridge, MA, BSc, was an academic researcher who moved into the charitable sector becoming Community Fundraising Manager for Scope and then Age Concern Cymru before being appointed Director of Fundraising for St. David's Foundation Hospice Care in Newport, South Wales, in 2000. Post retirement she moved to France and spent five years in the property business before returning to the UK and settling in West Sussex. She has two daughters and two grandsons, is a volunteer doorkeeper at Chichester Cathedral and a keen bridge player. |

| Mr Roy Leason Co-opted Trustee Roy Leason holds a professional qualification in Marketing, and worked in senior management positions at the Headquarters of W H Smith (the High Street retailer) before moving to the charity sector. He has worked for Barnardo’s, British Red Cross, the League of Hospital Friends, and recently retired from the Headquarters of the RSPCA, based in Horsham. Roy is married and has 2 children and 6 grandchildren. |

| Mr David Yates Co-opted Trustee David Yates is a Chartered Marketer and Incorporated Engineer with over 20 years national and regional corporate management experience plus a further 14 years of experience in executive and non-executive directorships in the small business service sector. He has also held roles on the Boards of not-for-profit organisations in the arts and the professional institutions sectors. He lives on the Surrey/Sussex border and is married to Vanessa. They have two grown up daughters and three grandchildren. |
