Healthy Walks
Horsham walk and talk scheme is just what it says: lots of lovely walks of different lengths and in different places, lead by experienced and trained volunteer leaders. Meet new people, make new friends and stay fit and healthy into the bargain. It is all free too. Crawley Health Walks offer a gentle way back into activity for people who are very unfit, are recovering from illness or operations or who may not have the confidence to walk on their own. All walks are led by trained leaders and are graded so you can choose where you want to start. They are a great way of meeting new people and improving your health and they're free. Walking with wheelchairs is the only UK web-site totally dedicated to providing free information on routes that are suitable for wheelchair users throughout the UK - free registration required.
West Sussex Council have various leaflets on walks (cycling and horseriding activities too) in their area and also a calendar of events.
Mole Valley District Council have a booklet (on sale) of walks in their area and this link will take you to a page on their website with further useful walking links.
Reigate & Banstead Borough Council also provide details of good walks in their area.
Mid Sussex Council have put together various walks for people of different levels of fitness.
