Three Bridges Football Club join HeART to Heart

St Catherine’s Hospice is delighted at the number of local businesses and individuals who have already signed up to join their HeART to Heart trail this summer.

Three Bridges Football Club are the latest organisation to sponsor a heart and to help make sure that in the future nobody locally has to face death and loss alone.

Paul Failli, Club Chairman, said: “We’re so excited to be part of St Catherine’s Hospice HeART to Heart trail. It’s a fantastic opportunity to get involved with the hospice and support the work that they do. St Catherine’s is a charity incredibly close to our hearts as one of our members had personal experience of the hospice when his wife was cared for by them. Our heart is named Jacqie after her, and will feature the number 56 to represent the year Jacqie was born. We can’t say too much more about the design at the moment, but we feel it’s the perfect way to celebrate Jacqie and our club. We can’t wait to see our heart out on the trail this summer.”

The football club also had a visit from another of the trail’s hearts, ‘Love Grows’, at their home game against Greenwich Borough earlier this month. ‘Love Grows’ is sponsored by Thakeham, who are also headline sponsors for the entire art trail.  Robert Boughton, Group Managing Director said, “Our relationship with St Catherine’s is extremely important and it’s great to support the hospice in such a fun campaign. The trail is also a brilliant opportunity to bring more people to the local area while promoting the incredible work St Catherine’s does.”

Suzanne Davis, Corporate Fundraiser at St Catherine’s said, “We’re looking forward to working with Three Bridges Football Club on our art trail and would like to thank them for their support.”
