Dream bridal gowns in Bishopric store
St Catherine’s Hospice Bishopric shop is inviting brides-to-be to visit and browse their brand new bridal section.
The shop has launched an upstairs bridal department where people can shop in style in an elegantly decorated area complete with luxurious changing space.
Teresa Harris, St Catherine’s Bishopric Shop Manager said: “We’re really excited to launch our bridal section and hope it’ll attract brides to come and see us. We’ve received some incredibly generous donations and have some beautiful dresses on offer. There’s a real mix of styles and colours. We’ve got some 1960’s designs and some of our dresses are brand new. Recently, a BHS gown was donated with the label on so there are real bargains to be had. Brides-to-be who’ve already visited have been impressed and we’ve sold dresses already. I and the team look forward to sharing in the excitement of more bridal dress shopping!”
As well as bridal outfits, the department also houses reasonably priced Mother of the Bride outfits, bridesmaid dresses, prom dresses and accessories.
The Bishopric shop is now appealing for people to donate their bridal gown, prom dress, bridesmaid dresses or Mother of the Bride outfits. Teresa said: “If you’ve got a wedding outfit sat in your wardrobe, why not consider donating it to support your local hospice? Donating your outfit is a lovely way of passing something special to someone else to enjoy on their special day. We’re particularly interested in complete Mother of the Bride outfits, or accessories such as hats, gloves and bags, but are grateful for any donation you can give.”
The bridal section at St Catherine’s Hospice shop at 6 The Bishopric, RH12 1QR is open for browsing between 9am and 5pm Monday to Saturday. To find out more about donating a dress or outfit, please call the shop on 01403 211829.
