“I work in Hassocks and regularly pop into St Catherine’s Hospice charity shop in the high street. One week they had a beautiful bridal window display with signs up advertising the bridal shop in Horsham. I am very keen on recycling, reducing waste and up cycling wherever possible, the thought of spending hundreds or even thousands of pounds on a dress doesn’t rest easy with me so I thought it was an ideal place for me to go and visit.
The whole top floor is dedicated to the bridal shop and my two sons enjoyed lounging around on the sofa whilst I tried on the dresses, there were so many to choose from, many of them brand new!!
My dress cost £50, it was brand new and I think I will donate it back to the hospice later on. I know the money I paid goes directly to helping those at the hospice that desperately need their help, it’s a great feeling knowing buying my wedding dress has helped others!”
