If you’ve decided to fundraise for us and aren’t sure how you want to raise the money, we have a few fundraising event ideas to help inspire you:

Bake sale

Are you a star baker, or just love eating cake? Either way, a quick and simple way to fundraise for St Catherine’s Hospice is by holding a bake sale. Do it at home, at work, at school or in your place of worship: wherever you like! Swap delicious treats for donations and you’ll be making a huge difference to St Catherine’s.

Quiz night

Why not hold your own quiz night with family and friends? Head to your local pub or village hall and either write your own quiz or find a ready-made one online. Rope a friend in to be your quiz master and charge a donation fee for participating; it’s a fun way to fundraise!

Sponsored hair cut

If you’re thinking of facing the chop for charity, why not do it for St Catherine’s Hospice? Get sponsorship for ‘daring to do it’, and unveil your new look along with your total fundraising amount!

Make the most of a celebration

If you’re approaching a big anniversary or birthday, why not throw a party to celebrate while fundraising for us? You invite the guests and we’ll provide the collection tins and balloons galore. You could even ask for donations instead of gifts and cards to make that extra bit of difference.

Comedy or music night

If you love a good laugh or seeing live music, a comedy night or charity gig could be a great way to fundraise. Gather your loved ones together and enjoy an evening of giggles, or if you know the next Ed Sheeran, get them to perform on stage and ask people for a donation to come to the gig.

Open Gardens

If you have a garden you’re most proud of, why not open your gates to the public so they too can enjoy your beautiful outdoor space? If you have an interesting or unique garden with peonies to be proud of, we want to hear from you!
