Coronavirus and your visit to St Catherine’s

News and Blog

Following the rise in cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the UK, please read our guidance before visiting St Catherine’s Hospice, whether that is to receive treatment, to volunteer, to work or visit a patient. Your cooperation and understanding is appreciated, thank you.

The St Catherine’s Hospice senior leadership team has been regularly reviewing the latest government advice around the Coronavirus (COVID-19) infection.

We want to make sure that we remain safe for our patients, staff, volunteers and visitors to the hospice. Our patients are a particularly vulnerable group to any additional infections.

In order to minimise the risk of infection in our hospice, we are following the latest government guidance for those who have recently travelled abroad to affected areas.

Please check this guidance before visiting us and note that the guidance is subject to change and should be regularly reviewed.

If you are at all concerned or unsure about any symptoms you may have, please call 111 who will be able to advise based on your circumstances.

If you have any questions about this guidance or any concerns about visiting the hospice during this time, or if you are feeling at all unwell with seasonal flu-like symptoms, please call 01293 447333 before visiting.
