Bereavement, Loss and Change for Children during and after Covid-19
This course is suitable for all healthcare professionals in all clinical settings.
This half day study day can be used as a refresher for the principles of supporting bereaved adults, or to gain/improve a knowledge base. The focus will be on ensuring that following a death of someone close to them people will be supported during the bereavement process. There will be an emphasis on support immediately following the person’s death and identification of the need for future support. The course will include group discussions allowing the link from theory into practice. The session will also include bereavement, loss and change issues not associated with covid-19.
Delivery: The course will be virtually via Zoom.
Cost: This course is free of charge to those working in West Sussex as fully funded by West Sussex Clinical Commissioning Group or £45.
