Sage & Thyme is a recognised and respected method of managing conversations with patients and carers who are distressed and concerned. It’s suitable for all healthcare workers as well as for staff and volunteers in any role where they might have contact with patients or carers and offers a structure to help you listen and respond effectively.
The Sage & Thyme foundation level workshop (3 hours) teaches:
- A memorable structured approach for getting into and out of a conversation
- Ways to empower patients and carers who are worried or distressed
- Effective communication skills that are based on research and evidence.
