Symptom Management in the last days of life
This half day course will provide you an opportunity to explore:
- the assessment and management of some of common symptoms including pain, nausea and vomiting
- respiratory secretions and terminal agitation
- The drugs commonly used to manage the symptoms
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This course is for registered nurses
This session can be attended as a stand alone session or alongside the Management of McKinley T34 Syringe Drivers course, which takes place in the afternoon. Lunch will be provided for those attending both sessions
