Our Understanding Dementia study day is suitable for Care Home, Primary Care, Social Care, Palliative Care, Learning Disability and Mental Health staff.

The day looks at the experience of people living with dementia, and by the end of the day, you’ll be able to:

• List the types, symptoms and causes of dementia
• Describe what dementia is like for people and their relatives
• Explain ways to communicate with a person who has dementia
• Assess and manage the needs and behaviour of people with dementia.
