Dragon Boats 2026

Join us at Tilgate Park on Saturday 5 September for an unforgettable afternoon with your colleagues, whilst doing something incredible for our hospice.

Based on a Chinese tradition dating back over 2,000 years, dragon boat racing is one of the fastest-growing and most popular water sports in the UK.

We’ve listened to feedback from 2025 participants and have made several improvements for this year’s Dragon Boats event, so it’s set to be better than ever. These changes include

• An extra pontoon to speed up boat loading and unloading, helping the day run even more smoothly
• New food and drink options so you can refuel in between races
• More prizes including best dressed team; best team name; most creative gazebo; and highest fundraising total.

So, don’t miss the boat – grab your paddles, rally your crew, and get ready to make a splash in an unmissable day of fun, racing, and camaraderie!

Your £275 registration fee (£25 per person per boat) covers the cost of running the event only. By signing up, your team commits to fundraising at least an additional £1325 for our hospice, but the challenge is on to raise even more so we can continue caring for local families who need us.
