DESCRIPTION:Push yourself to achieve something really special for St Catherine’s in 2026! \n\n\n\nThe Thames Path Ultra Challenge invites you to walk\, jog or run a distance of your choice\, alongside 3000 other challengers. \n\n\n\nThe full 100km distance follows England’s greatest river\, from Putney Bridge past Hampton Court to Runnymede of Magna Carta fame at 50km\, then on past wonderful historic scenery all the way to Henley. This challenge will test spirit and determination but is totally achievable with good preparation and the Ultra Challenge support. \n\n\n\n With 75km\, 50km\, 25km and 10km challenge options also available – there’s a challenge here for everyone – and you can join as an individual or as a team. \n\n\n\nBy choosing to take on the challenge in aid of our hospice\, you’ll help local people to receive the care they need at most vulnerable time of their lives. It really is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that you’ll remember forever.  \n\n\n\n\nBook Trek the Sahara now\n\n\n\n\nThis is more than just a trek\, it’s a chance to challenge yourself\, remember someone you love if you wish\, and raise vital funds so that St Catherine’s can continue providing specialist care to those who need it most.  \n\n\n\nCosts and Fundraising   \n\n\n\nRegistration fee is £300. This will be paid to Different Travel\, our travel partner\, when you book. Option to pay in instalments is available on request.    \n\n\n\nYou then have two options:   \n\n\n\n\nCharity sponsorship: Fundraise £1\,990\, which covers the trip costs (expected to be around £990*)\, with the rest going directly to St Catherine’s. Any money that you fundraise over and above £1\,990 will also go directly to St Catherine’s.  \n\n\n\n\n\nSelf-funded: Pay the trip costs to our travel partner Different Travel (expected to be around £990*) and then fundraise an additional £990 which goes directly to St Catherine’s.
