Clinical Nurse Specialist - Band 7 equivalent

Are you a current Band 6 or 7 Nurse with experience of managing a team? Do you have a Physical Assessment qualification or are willing to work towards this? Have you got the Non-Medical Prescribing Qualification or be prepared to undertake the course? Have you a passion for End of Life care and looking to specialise in an area where you can really help to make a difference to patients and their relatives at a challenging time in their lives? Then we may have the position for you to become the nurse you want to be in our CQC Outstanding rated organisation.

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen within the Inpatient Unit at St Catherine’s Hospice in Crawley which provides expert Palliative Care for adults and their families. This brand new post will enable you to develop specialist skills in the care of complex patients whilst using your team management skills to carry out the day to day management of a group of staff. You will be supporting the Clinical Nurse Specialist/ Clinical Lead and the wider MDT in taking the service forward, whilst preparing for our transition to our brand new purpose built Hospice.

This is a full time position however flexible working may be considered.
