Description

Are you a team player with strong mathematical reasoning and analytical skills?  Are you an enthusiastic, dynamic and highly motivated individual looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly Quality & Governance Team that could be for you.

We are seeking a Data Insight Officer. This role will ensure St Catherine’s makes effective and efficient use of systems and databases to support continuous service improvement and patient safety. The Data Insight Officer will be responsible for database administration, problem solving and small-scale development. This post is offered on a part time basis, working 22.5 hours per week flexibly over seven days. Interviews will be held on 5 and 6 September 2022.

When you join St Catherine’s, you’ll be joining a supportive team all working towards a big ambition: to help everyone face death informed, supported and pain free. If that sounds like something you’d find fulfilling, please apply today.

Employees at St Catherine’s Hospice can enjoy a variety of benefits including:

  • 25 days holiday, increasing with length of service to 30 days + public holidays
  • Option to buy or sell up to 1 week of annual leave
  • Day off for volunteering
  • Day off for moving house
  • Blue Light Card
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Eye test vouchers
  • Generous Pension – Up to 9% employer contributions or honour of NHS pension
  • Enhanced maternity/adoption pay
  • Life Assurance – 4x basic salary
  • Pay enhancement of unsocial hours
  • Flu Jabs
  • Counselling Offering
  • Discounted Gym
  • Schwartz rounds
  • Wellbeing Supervision (aka clinical supervision)
  • Career pathway and progression

Whilst it is not yet a requirement to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, we encourage all applicants to be fully vaccinated as this may be a requirement of the role going forward.

We are located in Malthouse Road, Crawley, West Sussex, which is within commuting distance from Brighton and London and just a 5-minute walk from Crawley railway station. In Autumn of 2023 we will be relocating to Pease Pottage where this role will then be based.
