We have an exciting new opportunity for a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner in our Inpatient Unit based in Crawley.
The St Catherine's Hospice Inpatient Unit is a 24 hour, 7 day a week service which delivers high quality care by a multi professional team.
The key senior role of Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner demands expertise in specialist palliative care, and experience in senior management and leadership. They will support leadership and management for the multi professional team and have responsibility, with the Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT), for assessing planning and delivering responsive, compassionate and effective patient centred care to the patients in the Hospice.
Through managing the day to day operational functions of the Inpatient Unit, the post holder will ensure adequate cover is provided for consistent round the clock service.
As a key team member and leader, the post holder will contribute to a positive working environment with an emphasis on team working.
You will participate in the rota system providing a 24 hour, 7 day a week service, supporting leadership and co-ordination of the round the clock rota.
