We have a brand new exciting opportunity for a Development Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner.
The St Catherine's Hospice Inpatient Unit is a 24 hour, 7 day a week service which delivers high quality care by a multi professional team.
The successful candidate will contribute to the overall care of patient and families referred to St Catherine’s Hospice within the inpatient unit.
As a team member you will contribute to a positive supportive working environment with an emphasis on team work and cooperation. Through managing the day to day operational functions of the Inpatient Unit, the post holder will ensure adequate cover is provided for consistent round the clock service. You will participate in the rota system providing a 24 hour, 7 day a week service, supporting leadership and co-ordination of the round the clock rota.
It is anticipated that the work plan will be 90% clinical and 10% Education/Teaching/Audit and Research.
This post is offered on a full basis, working 37.5 hours per week - this may be negotiable
