working-at-st-catherines-hospice

St Catherine’s is a local hospice with a big ambition, and we need the very best people to make it happen.

For 35 years, we have provided local palliative, end of life care and bereavement services throughout West Sussex and East Surrey. We are always looking for new people to join our outstanding team so that we can ensure everyone has access to hospice care. Currently, we can only reach one in three local people who are living with a terminal illness, and by expanding our team of experts, we hope to be able to change that so no one has to face death and loss alone.

At St Catherine’s, we all work together to provide the best care and support our local community: from caring for our patients on the Inpatient Unit and out in the community, to providing bereavement support through out Patient and Family Support team. We also rely on our support service teams to help keep our pioneering care going, such as our Fundraising, Finance, IT and Trading teams.

Our vision is a world where everyone can face death informed, supported and pain free. We would love for you to work with us and ensure that this happens, and that our local community can can receive the care and support they deserve when life comes full circle.

“I love connecting with patients and I can often see the difference I’ve made during a visit to someone’s home. People smile and you can feel their stress going. Working at St Catherine’s isn’t just a job, it’s part of who I am.”

– Katie Costello, Nursing Assistant.
