Midnight Walk 2020

Event Cancelled

An update on this year’s Midnight Walk

We have been closely monitoring the coronavirus situation and have made the tough decision to cancel our Midnight Walk. We can appreciate that this news, although not altogether surprising, will come as a disappointment to all those who had been looking forward to this year’s event.
We are now facing a severe shortfall in our funding because so many of the fundraising events and activities that usually take place each year can’t go ahead.

We thought hard about what we could offer you, if you still want to go the extra mile to care for your community this summer, by taking on a personal fundraising challenge.

It’s called Step Up, and we would love you to take part. Step Up is a step challenge designed to get you active and feeling good. You can take part by walking, jogging, running or climbing a distance or height that suits you. Just pick the right level of challenge from our suggestions – or make up your own Step Up Challenge.

Last year's Midnight Walk!

At the moment, we can only care for one in three terminally ill people in your community that need us. Make your steps count so we can be there for everyone when life comes full circle.

Last year, more than 1,000 people took to the streets of Horsham and raised a huge £125,000 for their local hospice – will you make the 2020 Midnight Walk even bigger and better, and help us raise more than £130,000?

We had so much fun on the walk. When I crossed the finish line for the first time and then each year after, I just felt proud that I’ve done it and quite elated; the feeling with everybody at the end cheering you on and congratulating you, it was a very poignant moment for me. I would encourage others to take part in the Midnight Walk because doing something like that to raise money for such a wonderful organisation is very important.” – Maureen, previous Midnight Walker
