Discover the events taking place across Sussex and Surrey throughout November
Our amazing supporters have organised some incredible fundraising events across Sussex and Surrey. So, if you’re looking for an evening or afternoon of entertainment that contributes to our local community here are some exciting events coming up this November.
Tea, Cake and Shopping Afternoon
Saturday 1 November
Woodgate Hub, Grace Holland Avenue, Pease Pottage
Join hospice supporter, Karen, from 1.30pm-4pm for tea and cake in the private function room at the Woodgate Hub.
Reserve your seat for just £1. Delicious sweet and savoury refreshments will be available for you to purchase. You’ll also find clothes, jewellery, and gifts on sale, making it the ideal opportunity for some early Christmas shopping. Plus, there’ll be some surprise gifts for a few lucky winners, along with a raffle and auction. All proceeds from the raffle, auction and ticket sales will go to St Catherine’s Hospice, as well as 20% of sales from the stalls.

Charity Disco and Bingo Night with Shield Build
Saturday 8 November
The Haven Centre, Hophurst Lane, Crawley Down, RH10 4LJ
Dabbers at the ready! Join local company Shield Build for an evening of fun, laughter and community as they host a Charity Disco and Bingo Night in aid of our hospice. Starting at 6.30pm, you can enjoy two evenings rolled into one! Food served will be served until 8.00pm, and after getting your “eyes down” on your bingo book, the dance floor then open until 11.30pm. It’s sure to be great fun so reserve your space now.

Tandridge Golf Day with St Catherine’s Golf Society
13 November
Godstone Road, Oxted, Surrey
St Catherine’s Golf Society will complete their final event of the year at Tandridge Golf Club on Thursday 13 November.
This stunning course is situated on the North Downs and promises spectacular views.
Meet at 8am for coffee and bacon rolls, before playing a full 18 holes, and finishing up with a delicious lunch.

Maximum Robbie: The ultimate tribute to Robbie Williams

Kim and Pauline, two of our fantastic fundraisers, are hosting an evening of entertainment in aid of our hospice.
You’ll dance the night away to Maximum Robbie and a brilliant DJ. If dancing isn’t your thing, you’re still very welcome to come along and enjoy the atmosphere of this fantastic event
There will be a light buffet and a paid bar, and lots of other entertainment on offer

Eighties Daytime Disco
22 November
7-9 Park Place, Horsham, West Sussex
Following on from the success of the Nineties Daytime Rave, Anna McCabe, is hosting an Eighties Daytime Disco.
Join Anna at Mungo’s Bar in Horsham on Saturday 22 November from 1pm-5pm for a feel-good afternoon. Bring your dancing shoes and boogie the day away to some 80s classics. Best part? You’ll be home in your pyjamas and slippers just in time for Strictly!
Tickets are £12.50 per person. And for every ticket sold, Mungo’s will donate an additional £2.50 to the hospice.

Crawley Down Village Christmas Fair
Saturday 29 November
Crawley Down Village Green, RH10 4HZ
Crawley Down village green will host the Christmas lights switch on event on Saturday 29 November, 3pm to 6pm, where St Catherine’s supporter, Alison Goodall, will host a craft stall in aid of our hospice. With a grotto, carol singing, an appearance from Santa, plus many varied stalls this is a fun, community event getting Christmas started, so please come along and support.

Every ticket bought, bingo called, disco danced helps raise funds towards vital hospice care for local people. Thank you for supporting your community.
