St Catherine’s Hospice furniture store turns one!

News and Blog

St Catherine’s Hospice recently celebrated a year of trading at its specialist furniture store. Since opening, the store, based at Unit 17, Denvale Trade Park, Crawley, has offered the local community two new ways to support its local hospice; by donating good quality furniture or homewares, or buying from a treasure trove of items to create their perfect home.

Set out to mimic real home settings, from sofas and sideboards in lounges, to kitchen tables with crockery sets, customers are able to imagine how furniture might look in their own home during their visit.

Liza Bing manages the store and said: “I love chatting to our customers, whether they’re looking for an item to freshen up their home or calling to find out more about our free collection service, which we provide to anyone who wants to donate good quality furniture to us. People donate for different reasons, some people have a personal connection to the hospice, while others want to support us because we’re a local charity.”

St Catherine’s furniture store is open seven days a week, from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday. With a regular stock turnover, you’re sure to find something special to shake up your home decor whenever you visit.

If you have good quality furniture or household goods you’d like to donate to the store, please call 01293 583077 or email: trading@stch.org.uk.
