Our Horsham Shop is Moving!

News and Blog

We are delighted to announce that our Horsham charity shop is moving to bigger and better premises.

We rely on the generosity of the Horsham community to help fund the care we provide to local terminally ill people and their families. Our presence in the town is important to help local residents feel connected to St Catherine’s, whilst providing an easy way for them to support us long into the future.

After six years, on Christmas Eve our Bishopric shop closed its doors for the final time and in early February our brand new shop will open in Horsham’s Carfax. Taking over the unit that was once the Post Office, the new store will be right in the heart of the town centre, making it much more visible and accessible to passers-by.

The shop will sell pre-loved books, clothing, bric-a-brac, and furniture. It will also be home to Horsham’s best kept secret – “Catherine’s Bridal”. With its own area within the shop and dedicated window display, our stock of pre-loved bridal and occasion wear won’t be a secret anymore! At a time where shopping sustainably is increasingly popular, we hope Catherine’s Bridal will be the place grooms and brides-to-be will choose to come to find an outfit for their big day.

Dawn Williams, Horsham Shop manager shares:

“We’ve been able to expand Catherine’s Bridal to make it a show-stopping feature of the store. With proms a few months away, we hope our amazing stock of affordable evening wear will also encourage students to buy their outfits from us, with prices starting from just £10.”

We are really looking forward to welcoming customers back in store very soon. Keep up to date with the progress of our new shop by following us on Instagram (@stchcharityshops and @catherinesbridalstore) and Facebook (St Catherine’s Hospice Shops and Catherine’s Bridal).

Whilst we get ready to open in a few weeks, why not browse for bargains in one of our other stores or online on eBay or Depop. You can view a full list of our charity shops here.
