Laura’s design draws inspiration from the lovely words and messages that she received from guests at her wedding, set amongst a colour pallete inspired by the day: pinks and purples from her wedding flowers, and yellows and greens to reflect the sunshine lighting up her forest venue. There are many ways in which we express love, but the art of letter or card writing is one that spans across the ages. Its permanence heightens the constant nature of a love which lasts throughout time. Her design was chosen by sponsors, employee benefit provider, Unum who loved the sentiments behind the design and how it blurs the concepts of old and new.
Laura’s designs are inspired by her passions for photography, calligraphy and nature, alongside her enjoyment creating patterns from words and letters. Working as a graphic designer at St Catherine’s Hospice means Laura sees firsthand the amazing work that the hospice does daily.
