Make every step count for your local hospice
Step Up this summer so local families in your community can continue to have expert, loving hospice care when it’s needed most.
Major fundraising events, like the London Marathon and St Catherine’s annual Midnight Walk, usually provide a way for many wonderful, local people, like you, to raise a significant amount of funds to provide expert hospice care for local people when they need it most. Care that many of you have experienced.
But these kinds of event are not possible at the moment – causing a severe shortfall in our funding.
Step Up is a great opportunity to help your community now
Step Up is a fundraising challenge designed with you in mind. If you had been looking forward to doing the Midnight Walk again this year, or another fundraising activity that can’t now go ahead, you can still do something to help St Catherine’s be there for our community. If this is the first time you’ve thought about taking on a personal challenge to support your local hospice, we are particularly grateful for your support now – because we need it more than ever.
Simply head over to our JustGiving campaign and create your own personalised page with information about your challenge and perhaps a couple of photos. Don’t forget to share your page with your friends and family, you could even make the first donation to get the ball rolling.
I miss Nanny and Grandad every day. St Catherine’s looked after them both in the hospice and at home. This horrible virus has made me very scared but I still wanted to step up for St Catherine’s. During my daily walks I’ve challenged myself to walk 26.2 miles – the same as a marathon! I know Nanny and Granddad would be really proud of meEllie-Mae completes marathon in memory of grandparents
I’m learning about mountains at school, so I’ve decided to climb 6,344m - the height of the Siula Grande Mountain in Peru using my stairs at home. I’ll be going up and down the stairs about 80 times a day! I wanted to step up and raise money for St Catherine’s, because they need our help more than ever. I feel proud knowing my challenge will help patients’ get lots of care when they need it most
So, will you Step-Up this summer and help provide the best end of life care for people in your community when they need us most?
