Get active and support your local community
The pandemic has meant many of our fundraising events and activities can’t go ahead this year, so we’re facing a severe shortfall in our funding. But you can help ensure that we are able to continue our vital work.
Jump higher, run further or take on a daily challenge… 50 push ups a day anyone?
This could be your chance to get fit and raise vital funds for your local hospice; decide on an activity, set up a Just Giving page, tell your friends and get physical!
Gordon set himself a unique challenge: complete 1,000 press-ups in time for his 72nd birthday and raise £1,000 for our hospice.
Gordon smashed this target, completing 1,576 press-ups and raised over £2,000.
Being over 70 I had to stay at home [during lockdown]. I chose press-ups as I could do them whatever the weather and the challenge gave me a structure to my day. Some days were harder than others, especially if I’d been doing lots of gardening or an online exercise class! I am so pleased to have been able to help St Catherine’s Hospice raise much-needed funds during the lockdown.
Results take minutes, can be printed or downloaded in a format that suits you, and allows you to easily create a poster or leaflet for your very own St. Catherine’s fundraiser!

Participants were asked to jog, run or climb a distance or height that suited them; from climbing the equivalent of Big Ben up their stairs at home, to walking the equivalent of Crawley to Paris in their back garden.
Get physical, take on a challenge and help us provide the best end of life care for people in your community.
We’re here to help you with your fundraising.
