The garden is set in a deer park, home to the world-famous herd of red deer. The informal garden was redesigned ten years ago and is a work in progress. There are two mixed borders framing the lawn with a ha-ha which gives clear views across the park from the house. A walled garden, woodland walk and vegetable garden add to the variety of visual delights.
Ploughman’s lunches and scrumptious cream teas with cakes will be available, together with a raffle and stalls including some home-grown plants for sale.
