The construction work of our new hospice is all set to go
Our ambitions to build our new home have had a number of challenges along the way, including having to re-design and re-cost the project as we responded to the impact of first Grenfell and then coronavirus on both the construction sector and our own finances.
However, in December 2020,our Trustees unanimously agreed to place our main build contract with Barnes Construction
With this commitment, preparation is now underway for work to start on site at Pease Pottage at this month (March 2022). There has already been some enabling work on site, so the first task will be to set the foundations ready for our building’s steel framework to be assembled later in the summer.
