Volunteer Counsellor

We are looking for volunteer counsellors to join our Wellbeing Counselling Services team at St Catherine's Hospice. Using your expert skills you will help deliver care and support to patients and their families at our Hospice sites, community venues, in people's homes across Sussex and Surrey or by telephone/video call.

Counselling is offered at any stage of a person's journey, and continues for families into bereavement.

As a valued member of our team, you will primarily work with 3+ allocated clients each week,  and have the opportunity to be involved in one of our bereavement groups.

You must attend regular supervision, and be able to see 3+ clients each week with a minimum commitment of 12 months. We offer two hours fortnightly supervision (max 4 people) and additional training opportunities.

Successful candidates will be required to attend three days of  training in September/October which will be held at the Hospice site in Crawley.
