Our fabulous fundraisers!
The care we provide to local families is only possible thanks to the generosity of our community. This week we are shining a spotlight on some of our fantastic fundraisers to say a massive thank you for standing by us.
Our Horsham shop celebrates its first birthday!
One year ago today we opened our new shop in the heart of Horsham – and what an amazing year it has been. Since 9 February 2023 we’ve signed up over 450 new supporters to Gift Aid and sold nearly 52,000 items to over 30,000 generous customers – including nearly 17,000 books and over 13,000 items of ladieswear.

How we’re helping people live well for longer

“The best thing is making connections with people.”
Following his A level results, Oscar Beet took a role at St Catherine’s as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA). He’s enjoyed it so much, he’s decided to study medicine and will be heading to university in London later this year. Oscar tells us how St Catherine’s inspired him to become a doctor.
“Volunteering in the shop helped me to learn what the culture is like in the UK.”
Our 14 shops are a great way for the local community to support our work. But for Kalpana Pandey, volunteering at her local shop gave her the sense of belonging she was looking for, following her relocation from India.
Could you be the next St Catherine’s trustee?
We're looking for voluntary trustees to support our vital work caring for local people living with a life-limiting or terminal condition. Could you or someone you know be a good fit?
