Our Charity Shops

Support St Catherine’s by shopping with us

Shop or donate in our stores and help raise vital funds for St Catherine’s.

Our hospice shops across Sussex and East Surrey are vital to the work we do, and last year brought in more than £1.6m. These funds will help us to deliver expert care and support to local families facing death and loss.

By donating your good quality unwanted items to your nearest St Catherine’s shop, or by popping in and buying yourself something new, you’ll be helping us reach even more people in your local community when they need us the most.

From clothing and accessories, to books, toys, and games, and homeware, furniture, and electricals our shops are stocked full with high quality, pre-loved, vintage, and nearly new items for you to discover.

Volunteer in our shops

We’re always looking for enthusiastic, friendly and motivated people to volunteer in our shops and help make a difference to the people we care for.

Volunteering in a St Catherine’s charity shop will not only provide you with excellent experience in retail and customer service, but is also a hugely rewarding way to meet new people whilst making a positive difference to a local charity.

Caring for people and the planet

As well helping us to care for the people that need us, shopping in our charity shops has great benefits for the planet too. Products remain in circulation for longer, which stops them from ending up in landfill prematurely. Whether you reuse an item, repair it to give it a new lease of life, or refurbish and repurpose it into something else, there are so many ways to make the most out of your unique charity shop finds.

With thanks to this Second Hand Calculator, supplied by the Charity Retail Association, courtesy of Charitable Recycling Australia, you can now see the real impact you’re having.

Pop in what you bought on your recent shopping trip and see the CO2 emissions and trees you’ve saved.
