Shop and donate at St Catherine’s Hospice shops
Our Redhill, Horley, Billingshurst and Crawley shops and Crawley furniture warehouse are now open. All our other shops are temporarily closed and can not accept any donations until further notice.
We hope to be opening the doors and welcoming back our supporters as soon as we can. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our brilliant staff and volunteers for their incredible hard work at this extremely challenging time.
Our hospice shops across Sussex and East Surrey are hugely important to the work that we do, and last year brought in more than £1.6m; money that will help us deliver vital care and support to local people.
By donating your good quality unwanted items to your nearest St Catherine’s shop, or by popping in and buying yourself something new, you’ll be helping us reach even more people in your local community when they need us the most.
There are 15 amazing shops across West Sussex and East Surrey. Find your nearest charity shop here.

Did you know we also have a specialist Bridal Store in Horsham? Donate your unwanted wedding dress, or find our dream gown with us, while supporting your local hospice. Find out more here.
Volunteering in our shops
Supporting us can be more than just donating your unwanted but much appreciated goods to our shops. Did you know, we’re always on the hunt for retail volunteers who can give a few hours of their time to one of our shops?
Volunteering with us will help you to gain experience in retail, window dressing and customer service as well as giving you a rewarding way to meet people and help a local charity.
By volunteering for us, you’ll be making a huge difference to the work of St Catherine’s, and will help us be there when life comes full circle. To see our current volunteering opportunities, click here.
Hear from our shop volunteers…
“Volunteering with St Catherine’s is a brilliant way of getting out and staying in touch. I’m a great believer that you get more joy from giving than receiving and I get a real, feel good factor knowing I’m doing something good for the world and utilising my skills and experience. If you’re thinking about volunteering with the hospice, I’d say just give it a try – I guarantee you’ll enjoy it!” – Peter, Crawley shop
“I love working in the bridal shop…People are always happy to chat to us, and it’s nice to see familiar faces. It’s really fun volunteering here and I love doing it. I like making other people happy.” – Katherine, Horsham Bridal shop
“The best thing about volunteering here is the hugs; you can literally make someone’s day. Ladies come in with their friends, work colleagues, mums or aunts to try dresses on and we work hard to make them feel comfortable. Their excitement is amazing! People are so happy, and when a lady tries on the right dress her face completely changes. It’s a privilege to see that and it makes me feel really good that I’ve helped in such a special way.” – Linda, Horsham Bridal shop
