Use your passion for arts and crafts to raise vital finds for your local hospice
Whether you’re an experienced crafter, an enthusiastic hobbyist, or just starting to explore the world of arts and crafts, there are plenty of ways you can get involved. So, dip those paint brushes, thread your sewing machine, and throw that clay – it’s time to get creative so we can be there for more local families who need us.
Raise £100 or more through your crafty fundraising and you’ll receive a handmade craft pouch from all of us here at St Catherine’s and an invite to our special thank you party.
Ideas and inspiration

Hold an Exhibition
Open up your house or garden and display some of your best pieces for visitors to admire. Your local community hall might let you use their space if you tell them it’s for charity. Charge admission and sell refreshments to fundraise even more.

Run a craft contest
Challenge your fellow arty friends to a crafting contest. It could be throwing the tallest pot, folding the most intricate origami, or knitting the biggest blanket using wool from our charity shops. Entry donations can be split between us and the winner.

Host a “Craft and Sip” night
Come together with friends and family for a relaxed crafting session whilst you sip on your favourite drinks. Ask people to pay to attend and provide the art supplies they will need, donating any profit to our hospice.

Auction off your art
Whether it’s at a live event or through an online platform, put your original artwork up for auction. Encourage people to bid for the chance to own something unique, and add a raffle or donation option so non-bidders can still contribute to your fundraising.

Share your skills
Got a special skill that you could teach? Why not lead a paid workshop and showcase your talents with your less crafty friends. It could be anything from crocheting to decorating cards, or pottery painting and wreath making.

Sell your creations
Sell your fantastic finished creations, or make up craft kits for people to purchase so they can get creative themselves. You could host your sale from your home, at local markets, community centres, or even online.
