Choosing the right equipment
As the build progresses our focus is moving to ensure that the fit-out of the building is as good as it can be.
We have a number of suppliers who are working with us to ensure we have the right equipment to provide excellent patient care. In December, Innova demonstrated riser recliner chairs and some other furniture, including a bed that widens so that people being cared for can be close to their loved ones.
Visits like this are crucial to help us decide how we can best adapt each of our new patient rooms to meet the wide variety of needs of the people we care for.
Staff were able to provide feedback on the products being demonstrated and similar events are being organised with other suppliers over the coming months.
